A young man looks at the meagre catch in his net while reef fishing in the lagoon. Reef fish are a traditional source of protein but the vital food source is threatened by over-population, pollution and the destruction of habitats as rocks are dug from the reef for seawalls built for protection against the high tides and storm surge.
