North and West of the Great Divide

In this arid land north and west of the Great Divide water is drawn from an artesian source to supply man made water holes for stock, they are shallow and prone to evaporation, gradually farmers are replacing this familiar but inefficient system with enclosed tanks and valved stock troughs.
