A women prepares to cover wrapped fish with leaves in the final stages of preparation for cooking on an umu or stone oven on Fogafale islet, Funafuti. She will send the fish to Fiji as a treat for her children who are at school. As fuel becomes more and more expensive on the island people are favouring to cook this way or to simply light a fire and cook in a pot or pan.
